Difference between CT3373717 & CT2KIT102464BF1339 ???

I am abit confused now.

Looking to purchase 16Gb RAM to suit my apple macbook pro i7 ; early 2011

Last night, I used the selection guide from crucial website, it guided  me to purchased CT2KIT102464BF1339

This morning, I have made up my mind, and would like to purchase it, so i used the selection guide again, and now it showed me  CT3373717

I open up CT2KIT102464BF1339 on a new web browser, but the website advise me that is not compatible with apple macbook pro early 2011 i7

Can you clarify this before i proceed further with purchase, please.

Hi sunyatsen,

First of all I'm sorry for the confusion over the part number.  I would be more than happy to check what memory is compatible with your system.

Can you confirm the screen size and also the processor speed?  Once I have this information I can confirm exactly what memory this system can support for you.

Hi sunyatsen,

Thanks for the information you have provided.

I have looked in to this system and found the compatible memory HERE.  All parts listed at that link are guaranteed to be compatible with your specific system.  Part number CT2KIT102464BF1339 is our standard memory but we recommend Mac specific memory for Mac systems.

Part number CT3373717 is a general part number which works in all the 2011 MacBook Pro systems and would work in your system no problem.  I would however look at the link above and order the memory direct from there as it's memory configured to your systems exact specifications.
