Ballistix Tracers LED problems?

I got 4x4gb of blue/orange Ballistix Tracers. Straight out of the pack a few LED's was either dim or dead of both colors. I sent two sticks in for replacement because I am picky and want them to be flawless since the LED's are the main reason for me going with the Ballistix Tracers over others. Anyway I got the sticks back and they worked perfect for a few months but then one developed and single dim oranage LED. I likely won't send it in for just one dim LED but I am curious is this a common problem or am i just unlucky?

Hi Sniper82,

I am sorry for the issues that you have experienced with your Ballistix Tracers. What is the make and model of the system that you have these RAM modules installed in? In general we don't see many issues with the LEDs. I would be happy to check and see if there are any issues with your particular system, however.

Thanks Sniper 82. What are the exact part numbers of the module? This should read something like BLT8G3D1608DT2TXOB.16F.

Thanks again.

I'd have to pull them to be sure but I ordered the BLT2KIT4G3D1869DT2TXOB kits. If I where guessing they are probably BLT4G3D1869DT2TXOB

Thanks for this information. We have no reported issues with this memory and your motherboard and we do have very low returns. It sounds like it was a fluke that you had these two sets have issues. Please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with. If you would like to set up a return for these modules please contact us directly using the information in my signature.

not going to bother with just one led giving issue. If I get anymore with issues I may send them in. Thanks
