Ballistix Elite 8GB DDR4-3466 UDIMM ranks

part #: BLE8G4D34AEEAK

quick question: are these modules single-rank or dual-rank?

Bonus question: if my suspicion is correct and they are single-rank, which are the fastest-rated dual-rank DIMMs Crucial sells?

Re: Ballistix Elite 8GB DDR4-3466 UDIMM ranks

@amdahl Thanks for contacting us. Yes, this memory is single ranked. The fastest dual rank memory we currently sell are parts BLT8G4D30AETA and BLE8G4D30AEEA. These parts both run 3000 MT/s. Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.

Re: Ballistix Elite 8GB DDR4-3466 UDIMM ranks

have read 2 possibilities

BLE8G4D34 A EEAK = dual rank

BLE2C8G4D32 B EEAK = single rank

--> which seems false

BLE2C8G4D32BEEA K = single rank

 --> confirmed from Crucial support

... and think you will prefer BLE2C8G4D34AEEAK (dual kit!)

but it seems, it do not always follow this terms or some listings are false.

for the Elite:

ex: (BL) (E) (2C) (8G) (4D) (34) (A) EEA K
BL = Ballistix

E = Elite

2C = Crucial 2x Kit / 2K = Ballistix 2x Kit // 4C = 4x Kit

8G = 8 GB each Module (Stick)

4D = DDR4 (identical with all Ballistix Elite/Tactical/Sport & Crucial)

36 = 3600 / 34 = 3466 / 32 = 3200 / 30 = 3000 / 26 = 2666

AEEA = ?? (maybe produced in factory xyz or latency or used chips or color of PCB)

K =  single rank / if missing = dual rank
