I have the ballitix 2*4gb model number:BLS2K4G3D1609ES2LX0. They only run stable at 1066; when I change the speed to 1333, the screen flickers; when I change it to 1600, windows won't boot up. My timings are 9-9-9-24. Others with this ram (look at reviews from newegg), either the system dosn't boot or the speed limit is 1066. I tried contacting support and they told me that I will never run at 1600 because my cpu (amd 965 be) dosn't support it, and that I will probably have to exchange it. Do you think there is anything I can do to make it run at 1333 speeds? (I don't want to have to pay return shipping). Also would the AMD 965 BE support speeds of 1600? I have the Biostar TA970.

I have had a look in to that processor for you and unfortunately the maximum memory speed it will support is 1333MHz so it will not support 1600MHz..
You said that your screen is flickering at 1333MHz but I have checked your motherboard and it should certainly support this speed. Do you know if you have the most up to date BIOS for this motherboard? When you are running the memory at 1333MHz, what voltage are you running the memory at?
Can you possibly try it at 1333MHz with 1.65v to see if it allows the system to run it like that? If you ordered the memory direct from Crucial we would pay the return postage costs. If you ordered from us within the last 45 days and would like to send the memory back for a lower speed then please contact our customer support team HERE.
