What is the turn around time on that? The system I have this RAM in is crucial (no pun intended) for my job. I do not think I can go without RAM until replacement modules arrive.
Currently the RAM works fine. It clocks up to the proper 1866 MHz, the only issue is the MOD software.

The turn around time can depend. We have two different options for our return/replacement process if you are based in the US. Our wait to receive method would be slower and would be dependent on the shipping back to us. Once we receive the return it takes about three days to process and two days for shipping. We also have an option where we would charge you for the new RAM and issue you a refund when we receive the old RAM. This method would take around two business days usually and the refund would take a few days to process once we receive the defective RAM. Please let me know if you would like any more information about this process or any more clarification.

I do have another question, will the replacement RAM be 4 x 4 GB sticks? The reason I ask is that this motherboard uses Quad Channel memory. I would see a measured drop in performance if I went to Dual Channel. 2 x 8 GB would not be an acceptable swap. If the only swap that can be done is 2 x 8 GB then I would rather stick with the RAM and just configure the lighting in another system and then place it back in to mine as the settings are stored on NVRAM as far as I know.

It would be a part for part replacement, so we would replace the sticks with 4-4GB modules of the updated revision. I hope this helps!

How long would I be able to take advantage of this swap out program? I need to pay down a few thingsbefore I can proceed. I believe that the charge and ship replacement then I send back the old ones and get a refund option would work the best. It just isn't feasible at this time.
NOTE: The RAM was purchased through Newegg like 1 week ago if that helps.
Also I appreciate the prompt replies. Makes things easy for me.

Ok well now I am having an odd issue. The machine booted just fine, showed all 16 GB of the RAM @ 1866 MHz, installed some Windows Updates and restarted the machine. Went into the BIOs and system shows RAM speed of 0 MHz. I boot into Windows 8 and it only shows 8 GB out of 16 GB.
It can't be a bad memory controller as this occurs on 2 i7 3930K CPU's.
Would the existing RAM issue with x79 platform cause this kind of behavior?

lets go ahead and proceed foward to process the slower RMA. The RAM isn't working and as such I need to get RAM that will work.
