A stick of memory from a kit I bought in 2009 has failed.
The type of memory is 2x1GB DDR2 800mhz 'BL2KIT12864AA80A.8FE5'
I have sent off a form for a replacement with RMA. Does anyone here with experience know what memory will be sent back? I have browsed the available DDR2 memory on sale at crucial.com/uk and there are no Ballistic 2GB kits listed, only the cheaper standard memory

I am sorry for the issues that you have experienced with your RAM. I would be happy to see what memory you will be receiving with your replacement order. Would you private message me your RMA number so that I may take a look and see what parts your replacement was set up with? Thank you in advance.

One other question, I bought this memory in the UK from dabs.com not crucial.com/uk. Does this make any difference with the return ( I don't have the original package any more just the invoice).

I'm based in the UK and I would be more than happy to check the RMA for you.
I have sent you a private message to confirm some more details before I can check it for you. As soon as you reply I can look at the RMA and see what memory you will receive in return.
