Crucial MX200 1TB - Write performance is minimal? Help

Hi guys!

Need some help with a slow SDD -

Hackintosh Build

Intel i7 - 4770k 3.5ghz

Gigabyte Z87-HD3

Nvidia GTX 760 2gig

Samsung 120gig SDD

Crucial MX200 1TB

I run this setup for Video Editing, keeping one or two projects stored on the Crucial SSD.

As of the past month, i've notice a rather bad struggle with video playback / rendering.

Ran a test on the SSD and thought the write numbers were rather low compared to when i first installed it.

As far as I know Apple don't allow trim for third party SSD's without using hacks.  And video editing (due to the large amounts of data being written) is the one usage where you'd definately need trim and the drives own garbage collection is likely to be insufficient.

I'm not a Mac user so I can't much help but try googling for enabling trim in Mac OS
