Mobo manual says M.2 shares SATA mode with SATA6G_1 port.
Also there is an option in BIOS > 'M.2 / SATA6G_1 Configuration' that can be set to [Auto] or [Manual]
M.2 and SATA6G_1 SATA Mode Configuration [SATA6G_1]
M.2 shares SATA mode with SATA6G_1 port. Change this item before installing M.2 SATA devices.
[M.2] SATA mode will be switched to M.2. SATA6G_1 can only support PCIE devices
[SATA6G_1] SATA mode will be switched to SATA6G_1. M.2 can only support PCIE devices.
Reading this manual I would try following:
1. Turn off PC
2. Remove M.2 SSD and unplug anything that is connected to SATA6G_1 port.
3. Boot to BIOS
... This is optional but you can consider resetting BIOS options to defaults
4. Set M.2 and SATA6G_1 SATA Mode Configuration [SATA6G_1] to [Manual] and set it to [M.2]
5. Save the settings
6. Turn off PC
7. Install M.2 SSD
8. Turn on PC
