Hoping I don't have to (firmware 0009 for M4 MAY have fixed problem), but if problem (periodic restarts) appears, I will be ready to ditch the SSD and move the OS to a harddrive. I would like NOT to have to reinstall the OS (Win7-64) and all the applications and drivers (2-3 day process).
Have you successfully moved your OS from SSD to harddrive? How did you do it?
I have copied the entire SSD to HD for backup using Acronis True Image WD Edition backup (not clone) function, but I have seen posts that infer that an SSD image can't be transferred to a HD so suspect this back up won't work (???).

There's no reason that shouldnt work. If anything, Acronis is far more likely to mess up going from HD to SSD because it's **bleep** at handling the alignment (which doesn't matter on most hard disks).
You should be able to use any cloning software of your choice to clone from SSD to HDD or HDD to HDD.
