Installing Crucial 2TB MX300 SSD into my Macbook Pro 13inch 2012 2.9ghz i7 16GB 1866mhz RAM

hie there.im khaidir frm kuala lumpur malaysia.i just bought Crucial 2TB MX300 SATA 2.5” 7mm SSD 30mins ago because i read lotsa good reviews about this SSD.At this moment my Macbook Pro 13inch 2012 2.9ghz i7 16GB 1866mhz RAM is using 1TB Samsung 850Pro ssd + 2TB Seagate Firecuda SSHD.I do like Samsung 850 Pro but i do need more bigger storage in my macbook..I really hope this new Crucial 2TB MX300 SATA 2.5” 7mm SSD i bought gonna make me happy and also hope its same level as Samsung SSD...Screen Shot 2017-03-29 at 3.39.42 AM.pngScreen Shot 2017-03-29 at 3.38.43 AM.pngphoto6219697572365313968.jpgScreen Shot 2017-03-29 at 3.41.18 AM.png

im just bought MX300 2TB ssd an hour ago.i wanna install it into my Macbook Pro 13inch Mid 2012 2.9ghz i7 to replace my 1TB Samsung 850Pro SSD.do i need to upgrade the firmware before i install it into my Macbook pro?

The drives tend to ship with the latest firmware already on but it does depend on how old the stock is at the shop you bought it from.  If they've had the drives on the shelf a while it might be the previous firmware.  If they have a high turnover, it will probably be the latest.

Thanks for your question. M0CR040 is the most current firmware version, so you do not need to update. I would advise subscribing to this link here, so that you may receive notifications when new firmware is released. Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.

thanks....but now my ssd got bad blocks after 1 month using it...
