M4-128 Failing - SMART Issues?

 The past couple boot ups I've gotten messages indicating that my M4-128 GB, which I use as my boot drive, has SMART errors and may be failing. Is it time for a new drive? Do the numbers below indicate failure is imminent, or do I still have time? I don't really know what Average Block Erase Count and Percent Lifetime Used mean. Thanks for your help.

Your SMART data looks completely healthy to me except SSD wear indicators: Average Block-Erase Count and Percent Lifetime Used. They mean 93% of rated drive life has been used, there were lot of writes to NAND flash memory. 

 

If your drive is in mission critical system you can consider replacing it.  If it isn't then you can still use it in my humble opinion - just backup your data and remember about reasonable backup strategy. According to some SSD endurance tests, your M4 can possibly handle much, much more writes, about three times more Smiley Happy
