Problems with my Crucial m4 (128 GB)shipped with FW 0002 error when installing
"Smart Capable but Command Failed"
Mainboard:MSI Eclipse SLI x58 ICH10R
I've installed the new M4 with win7x64 in a system as stated above, with Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver installed with raid mode.
Then connect all other HD to the system,2x1TB samsung HD in raid 0 ; and 2x2TB samsung HD non-raid,(m4 SSD in non-raid mode)
after all other programes installed, and start doing some video editing for a few hours, suddenly it turned into blue screen,
then I power off the PC,wait a few min.and power on,it hang on window logo for more than 10 min.
then,I power off it again, and waited for 30 min.and try to power on ,but cannot get recognition of this SSD.
I also try to connect the drive as a spare to a system already running windows, It just hang on window logo (M4 not detect during post)

Disable smart testing in your bios. It alsmot certainly doesn't support a drive as new as this. If you want smart info use CrystalDiskInfo v4 or later

smart testing in bios is Disabled
Now,this M4 cannot be detected by BIOS in RAID mode and AHCI mode,
can only be detected by BIOS in IDE mode with error "Smart Capable but Command Failed"
I also try to install in IDE mode but with error
"windows cannot be installed to this disk. This computer's hardware may not support booting to this disk. Ensure that the disk's controller is enabled in the computer's BIOS menu."

Ah if it is actually failed you would need to talk to support about an RMA: http://forums.crucial.com/t5/Crucial-Announcements/Contacting-Customer-Service/ba-p/1015
