MX300 - EnhancedStorage / TCGDrv error

[ Edited ]

Hi folks,

My mother's Intel NUC (NUC6I3SYK ) has been randomly crashing when there is no internet connection. In the process of (hopefully) resolving that, I've noticed that I'm getting the below in the System Event Log of Windows 10 Home 64 bit:

Event ID 10, EnhancedStorage-EhStorTCGDrv

Desc: AuthenticateSession

Param1: 0x1

Param2: 0x60000001c

Param3: 0x900000006

Param4: 0x0

Windows 10 is fully patched but does not have the Creators Update installed.

The SSD is a Crucial MX300 275GB SSD M2 2280 6Gbps 3D Nand Solid State Drive (CT275MX300SSD4) and is installed in AHCI mode.

Searching shows up various issues with Bitlocker and Secure Boot. Bitlocker is not in use and I've checked that Secure Boot is NOT enabled in the BIOS.

Does anyone have a solution?

Are those crickets I hear? Have I posted this in the wrong section?
