MX300 Model Numbers Question

When I did my search using the Crucial upgrade reccomendaions for my late 2011 13" MBP, it gave me model

CT8609296 as my upgrade option.

I was impatient and wanted it the next day so I went the Amazon route with next day shipping.  It had a different model number

CT525MX300SSD1, but the reviews supported MBP upgrades.

Just curious if there really are different models for this drive with the same specs?  Works fine as I expected it to.

Thanks,

Joe

Re: MX300 Model Numbers Question

As far as I know this is the same model. CT525MX300SSD1 is a marketed part number while CT8609296 seems to be some kind of their internal part number.

Re: MX300 Model Numbers Question

Thanks, I initially wondered whether the Crucial direct came formatted for the Mac or had Trim enabled or something.  Either was easy enough to do.
