MX300 Not Recognized on Ubuntu 16.04

Hello,

Hitting a wall on installing my new MX300 SSD.

System Information:

Toshiba Satellite L305 S5933

32bit

Running Ubuntu 16.04 LTS

When I plug in the SSD through USB-SATA no new drive is recognized.

I downloaded the mx300_revM0CR050_bootable_media_update.iso, burned to CD. On boot with Boot Loader set to CD/DVD drive first and SSD plugged in, the system just boots normally

.

Tried running StorageExecutive-3.43.032017.05-windows-32bit-Setup.exe with Wine, but Wine crashes, even though it runs with other programs.

Downloaded and ran atih_installer_hd_4061_en-US.exe which starts to run and Unpacks Installer Files, but nothing else.

Attempted to do clean install with Ubuntu on USB and Boot Loader set to USB drive first and SSD plugged in, but system just boots normally.

Really not sure what else to do.

Is it problem with BIOS (Verion 1.9)?

Thank you

[Solved] Re: MX300 Not Recognized on Ubuntu 16.04

Disregard. I burned a .iso CD of CloneZilla (32-bit not 64bit!) after seeing thread:

Clone went smoothly and actively working on installed SSD. So far so good!! Yay.
