NEW SSD GIVING ME HARD PROBLEMS

Good morning

One week ago I bought a SSD (CT1050MX300SSD) to change my old hd of a macbook pro mid 2012... it sounds easy but I never could install a system. The installation starts but never finish, doesn't mind if it is high sierra, mavericks or lion...

Someone talk to me about carbon copy cloner software but here I found it couldn't copy because of reading and writing errors....

Any idea?

Thanks

Re: NEW SSD GIVING ME HARD PROBLEMS

raul1977,

If you have a 13" MBPro (midi 2012) then replace the hard drive cable as they are known to fail.  It used to be a free replacement, but the special repair program has ended for most people.

Did you ever get your laptop running again?
