Confused by Crucial part number. Is CT51264BC1339 16FR compatible with - iMac mid 2010?

The following RAM seems to be identical to that listed as compatible on the Crucial website but the part number is different, will it work?  If anyone can  help I'd really appreciate it...

Computer - iMac Mid 2010 - 3.06 GHz Intel Core i3.

Spec: 1333 MHz DDR3 SDRAM memory module.  PC3-10600. 204-pin(Nonparity, Unbuffered)

Is the following part compatible-   PART NO: CT51264BC1339 16FR.

4GB DDR3-1333 (PC3 10600) SODI

The part listed as being compatible is - PART NO:  CT8914062.

If anyone can help I would really appreciate it.

Thanks,

Paul

Re: Confused by Crucial part number. Is CT51264BC1339 16FR compatible with - iMac mid 2010?

Hi Paul,

Thank you for your question.

I have looked in to this further for you.  This model can accept 16GB over 4 memory slots.  You're correct in saying that we recommend CT8914062 as compatible with that model.  The part CT51264BC1339 you listed, would also be compatible with your system.  It will work perfectly with your model.

We do also have an installation guide available for that model.  You can see it on our website HERE

Enjoy your upgrade and if you do have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to ask.
