Memory Upgrade

Hi guys, I have a MacBook Pro with this specifics:
- MacBook Pro 13 inch, mid 2012
- Processors 2,5 GHz Intel Core i5
- Memory 4+4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
- Graphics Intel HD 4000 1536 MB
I was thinking about upgrading to 16 GB memory.
Could you tell me if I can do it without any problems and my Mac can work better?
Thank you!

Re: Memory Upgrade

@Andrew82 Thanks for contacting us today. Your system can be upgraded to 16GB without any issues and if you are utilizing a lot of RAM currently with 8GB, it should improve your system performance. A link to upgrades for your system can be found here. Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.

Re: Memory Upgrade

@Andrew82 You can check how much RAM you are using by following these steps:

1. Open a new Finder window and navigate to your Applications folder.

2. Locate and open the "Utilities" folder. Double-click "Activity Monitor."

3. Click the "System Memory" tab at the bottom of Activity Monitor to view the usage and different components of your Mac's memory. "Used" memory refers to the overall amount of random-access memory used.
