Crucial memory in an iMac 27” mid-2015 w/Retina 5k display.
3.3 GHz Intel Core i5
Added 2 X 16gb kit (2 x 8gb each kit) Crucial modules (CT2GS3S160BM) in slots 1,2,3,4.
Began receiving frequent reboots - Kernel Panic
Ran hardware diagnostics and all showed OK !!!
Removed Crucial modules leaving only Apple OEM memory (2 x 4gb) and problem disappeared.
Removed Apple memory and installed only 1 kit Crucial in slots 1, 2 Reboots began occurring again.
Removed 1st kit and Reinstalled 2nd kit Crucial memory in slots 1, 2. Reboots again.
Back to Apple memory only. All is well, but I would like to have 32gb RAM total but looks some kind of trouble with Crucial kits...
These were bought on Amazon.ca ( I'm from Canada)
Is there any solution that you can help in any way to have this fixed for good ?
