Are crucial parts CT12864AC667 and CT744377 the exact same?

Although they both have the exact same specs, could there be slight size differences in the two? Or is CT12864AC667 just an older part number that was replaced by the current part number?

Hi timothyc39,

I have had a look at both part numbers for you and CT744377 is actually 2x CT12864AC667.  It's a 2GB kit which means it has two modules that come together in a pack.

Both modules part numbers are the same only CT744377 is two of CT12864AC667.

It is not unusual to see a different part number on the module we shipped you when comparing it to the part number you ordered online. The part number you see on-line is a reference number so that we can connect the correct module to the correct system.  Some modules have similar specifications, but, do not work in all systems.

When you order by advanced search online, you are shown the “external” part number CTxxxxxx. The part number that you see on your module is the actual module base part number CTxxxxxxxxx.xxx. If you order by advanced search or system information, the external part number is referenced in your packing list. The two cross-referenced part numbers refer to the same module.

Hi Timothyc39,

What is the processor speed of that late 2007 Macbook (it should be something like 2.0ghz)?
