I'm not super computer savvy, just putting that out there. I'm getting two options for my compatable memory upgrade...they both look identical but one says CL=7 and the other says CL=9 ...What does this mean and which one is better (they're both the same price so it's hard to tell).

CL 7 is better performance, that is what you want for sure if they are the same price as CL 9
CL is CAS Latency, the main speed timing of the memory.
