I'm running Win10 Home, 64 bit. I have tried upgrading my 2 x 4Gb memory to 2 x 8Gb CT102464BA160B. When 2 x 8Gb installed, or one and the other in each slot I get: short-short-short-long-long beep code. If I use 1 x 4Gb and 1 x 8 Gb module then my PC POST is okay but only the 4 Gb module is recognised in Windows.
Is the CT102464BA160B comapctiable with a Pavilion 550-153na Desktop PC?

@Griff4759 Thanks for contacting us. I pulled up your system specs and it appears that your system is not compatible with CT102464BA160B. I would expect that is why you are running into issues with the RAM. The part number you would need is CT102464BD160B. A link to this memory on our site can be found here. Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.

Thank you for your very quick response.
I've now confirmed that my current RAM operates at 1.35V, so the CT102464BA160B (DDR3) which operates at 1.5V only is not compatible. I note the CT102464BD160B is DDR3L, the "L" meaning it can operate on both 1.35V and 1.5V systems.
I've now purchased from your UK website the 2 x 8GB paired DDR3L kit (ref.: CT7955006 CT2K102464BD160B), which is the same type of memory that you provided the link for, i.e. CT102464BD160B.
