Crucial DDR4 8GB 2400 CL17 - DUAL channel or SINGLE channel?

Hello mates.

I'm currently using a single stick crucial ddr4 8gb 2400mhz cl17 on my system. I would like to add more ram to my system but i would like to know if this can run on dual channel by basically adding the same ram stick to my system?

Re: Crucial DDR4 8GB 2400 CL17 - DUAL channel or SINGLE channel?

Hello,

Thank you for your question. In order to achieve dual channel mode you will need to have a matched pair of memory modules in the system. You will need to find a another memory module with the same extension as your current 8GB memory module. The extension is .C16FHP and you can contact our customer support directly to purchase the same memory module extension.
