Dell Optiplex 380 new memory not working

I have bought on a shop a 4GB DDR3L 1600 CL11 UDIMM CT51264BD160BJ and it has not worked on the computer.

(this memory has only chips on one side, 8 chips)

 

I want to change this module so I had gone to Crucial site and run the Advisor tool to know which memory is compatible. I get this as result:

 

4GB DDR3L 1600 CL11 UDIMM CT8961405 which I can't figure out the difference with the one that I bought and is failing.

 

Can someone tell if these two memories have some different specs? Different density or something?

Thanks for contacting us. I am sorry for the issues you've had with your RAM. It looks like the issue with the part you have is the density. Your system does take very specific memory. CT8961405 on our site is the same part as CT51264BD160B. CT51264BD160BJ and is not listed on the compatability list and is a high density part. I would recommend returning it and purchasing CT51264BD160B or CT8961405 from our website.  Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.

I asked my supplier for a memory replacement. As soon as I receive the new one and I test it I will report back.

It was not till today I had the chance to install the memory on client pc. All good. Thanks.
