What is the difference between EUDIMM and UDIMM?

Interchangeable? Unable to find the differences  Think it is in form factor, but not documented.  Nothing shows up on Crucial or google searches.

More... Odd, when both are ECC, sometimes Crucial uses these interchangeable. See:

My guess is EUDIMM identifies ECC while UDIMM could be NON-ECC or ECC.

Re: What is the difference between EUDIMM and UDIMM?

@halp Thanks for contacting us today.  UDIMM means unregistered DIMM. UDIMM does not specify if it has ECC error correcting code) or not.  We do normally refer to a UDIMM with ECC as a EUDIMM. Registered ECC would be an RDIMM.  Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.
