Re: memory upgrade

Hello lgb1268,

Thank you for your question.

I have had a look in to this system for you.  This model can support a total of 64GB of memory over 4 memory slots.  The memory does not need to be in matched pairs which means you can add a single 8GB module no problem at all.

You can see all the compatible memory modules on our website here: http://uk.crucial.com/gbr/en/compatible-upgrade-for//z87-g41-pc-mate

We do also have a great guide and support section on our website here: http://uk.crucial.com/gbr/en/support-memory

If you do have any other questions at all, please don't hesitate to ask.
