Flash Memory Cards and USB Flash Drives

I am trying to  open a 8 gig crucial that someone sent to me that I really need to open asap and it won't let me copy the file to my desk top or unarchive it, stating that there is not enough space on I guess crucial, please help I need those files, they are  unfortunately in one folder.

Please give us a little more information about your device and your problem. Is this an 8GB card or USB drive? Which operating system are you trying to open it in, and which operating system was it used in before? What is the exact error message you see when you try to open the drive?

Lastly, have you tried opening the folder on the drive on a different computer, and does it do the same thing on another system?
