Gizmo Jnr 8gb not working

Hi
My 8bg Gizmo Jnr has stopped working. Each time I put it in the USB slot I get the message 'Please insert a disk into Removable Disk' It seems to be recognising it as a Removable Disk Drive. I have tried opening it and also formatting it but to no avail. Have tried it on varous computers using both Vista and XP operating systems but it fails to recognise it as a Gizmo Jnr. Any advice please.

Is this your PC that you're attempting to insert the Gizmo into?! Do you know if any other brand of flash drives have been used on the PC? What I've been seeing a lot of lately are software conflicts due to firmware recognition and/or driver issues. The second one is really easy to fix. You need to have Administrative access to the PC. You need to uninstall the drivers for the USB device and then restart the PC. When the PC reboots, the drivers loaded onto the Gizmo will install themselves automatically and you should be able to use the device again. I've seen huge issues with Kingston and Corsair thumbdrives having drivers that overwrite any other drivers being used for that particular type device. Good luck.
