I'm playing Infamous 2 on my PS3 right now and it seems to be one of the better sequels because it is just as good as the original Infamous (IMHO).

They're remaking X-COM Enemy Unknown for release Autumn/Fall this year! As an actual turn based strategy game like the original. X-COM is still IMO the greatest game of all time.
Hearing this is the best thing that's happened to me today. And it faced some stiff competition considering Apple randomly gave me an 8gb Gen 6 Ipod Nano this morning rather than replacing the battery in my 4gb Gen 1!

It's not even my weird tastes in non-mainstream games (which i do accept that i have ) that think it's the best either.
IGN rated it the best game of all time 2007: http://uk.pc.ign.com/articles/772/772285p3.html and again in 2009 (though i can't find the link). In 2011 they restricted themselves to 'modern' games and it didn't qualify.
I see Tie Fighter at number 3 in that list. I really want someone to update that too!

Cannon Fodder 3 was just released out of nowhere* at gamersgate! Who's old enough to remember Cannon Fodder?
*It was known that it was in development but was believed they only had the righst to release in Russia.

I loved the original Cannon Fodder games on the Amiga I never knew they were releasing a remake of the game. Have you played it yet?

I've not got it yet - I'm waiting on reviews. There's no demo and it's not by the original team so it's quite a gamble at £20 for my tastes! I've managed to get a pre-order in for Mass Effect 3 less than this costs for instance.
Mind you, it almost looks worth it for the video clips, never mind the gameplay: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=h1FVSg4ENE0
I deleted some of this post as I'd already said it above. Discussing the game in a few places trying to find someone that actually played it and lost track of what's been said where lol

Found a Russian demo: http://gfi.su/files/cf3_demo_setup_rus.exe
I suspect it's not the kind of game you need to read a lot.

I might have to give this a go tonight when I get home.
Just seeing the video took me back to the old Amiga days.

Yeah I been singing the theme from the Amiga version in my head ever since a friend sent me the link that the game was out.
I just played the first three levels in the demo and I have to say I'm impressed! The screen tearing is dreadful and I can't turn on vsync because the menu's are russian in the demo. Camera is a bit jumpy - as in it moves strangely, not a framerate issue.
But the gameplay seems great fun to me! Not yet sure on buying it. Will play more demo.
I found graphic options!
HacTPoNKN -> BNaeo then set the res you want and every option to Da and then select npNMeHNTb
that fixes the tearing, the camera movement is still odd though.
To actually play the game go for kamnaHNR then npoaonxeHNe. After each level I kept choosing an option that bounced me to the main menu but reselecting those two basically continues the game from the level you are up to.
To quit, MeHo is menu and Bblxoa is quit
Some control tips:
wasd to move, mouse to shoot
Space to throw grenade
And mouse wheel to change weapon (apparently. I just read this and not test it yet)
