My custom built pc 8gb ram asus mb was working great and I went to reboot and the video went dead. It only has one dvi port on board so I can't plug into the vga slot to test it. There is only an onboard video card no after market pci video card. Though I plan on trying that on Monday, by hooking up an aftermarket video card in the PCI slot. I have a feeling that something with the video card driver went dead but without a way to plug in the monitor I can't see what is going on.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

There could be an issue with memory allocation. Try removing 4 GBs and restart. Some onboard video systems have issues with memory allocation when using more than 4 GBs.
