I have a Dell XPS M1330, build date 01/08/2008. It is still working great but I want to upgrade to a SSD. My drive seem to have an extra connector that the SSD's don't have. Does anyone know if an SSD  will work in my system. The

Crucial M500 240GB 2.5-inch Internal SSD is the recommended drive but I don't see the extra connector that my drive has.

Hi gawoods,

Thank you for contacting us today. The Crucial M500 does appear to be completely compatible with your system. It does also appear that your HDD does have the correct connection.

This is what the SATA connector looks like:

This is what you appear to have. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.
