i have a intel core duo cpu e6850 @3ghz processor

asus p5k motherboard with 2gb ram running windows 7 32 bit.

could i change to windows 7 64 bit and have 8gb ram to play games.

if so which is the best ram for my system.

Thank you for contacting us today. I pulled up the Asus p5k and it does appear that your system can go to 8GB of RAM. You would just need to upgrade the operating system to a 64 bit, as you had stated, to see the full 8GB. You would need to purchase two 4GB kits in order to upgrade your system to the 8GB. i have been informed asus do not list drivers for p5k motherboard 64 bit.

is this right or not [hope they do then i can upgrde my ram from you]
