I am leaning to upgrade my old pc. After I did a scan, I can up grade my to a SSA drive.
I add more RAM last week. Do I need to upgrade the processor w/motherboard first, before
I upgrade my drive or just buy a computer with a SSA drive in it?
It is all about $$$

Thanks for contacting us today. For some reason I am unable to pull up your scan ID (it might be an issue with my system). What is the make and model of the computer? As long as your computer is compatible with a SSD you would not need to upgrade anything else in the system.

Sorry about the issue. It was a old scan. I have a 2010 emachines Windows 7 home premium 64 bit.
With an AMD E-300 duel core processor. I have just upgrade RAM from 2GB to 8GB. The IP company said it not my net that has my computer running slow it's the computer. My question is do I need to upgrade my pc with an SSD & processor /wb or buy a compatible pc with an SSD in it?

It does look like that system would be compatible with our M500 and M550 models of SSDs. I would recommend trying the SSD before upgrading your computer completely. If you purchase directly with us, you could use the SSD for up to 45 days and then return it for a full money back guarantee if you are not happy with the results.

It me again I reran a scan and it said that I have the following:
External drive bay: 1 x 5.25
Internal drive bay: 1 x 3.5 at 81% full
My question is the Internal Drive that is 81% full is that my hard drive?
2nd what is the external drive use for?
3nd when I look to buy the SSD do I look for the following:
SATA 6GBps 2.5 internal or get the MSATA?
Thank you very much for helping a newbie learn!!

The internal drive would be your hard drive. The external drive would be a drive that you have hooked up via an external in-closure or a drive possibly used for music, games, etc. The external drive would be hooked via a USB port.
When you go to purchase an SSD you will want to purchase the 2.5 inch drive. It doesn't appear that your system has a slot for the msata (these are usually for thin laptops/netbooks). Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.
