The .exe installers are not compatible and most likely they will not work, I wouldn't use them. But the drivers themselves are unified and they should work on any OS from XP to Windows 10. You just download f6flpy-x86.zip - for 32-bit versions of the operating system or
f6flpy-x64.zip - for 64-bit versions of the operating system, unzip the file and install the driver via device manager. 11.7 should be a good one for you but you may even try 12.9 driver.

Ah I wasn't aware it wouldn't install.  W10 uses the same architecture as Vista (and up as far as I know but they did rename in from NT6 (used in Vista through 8.1) to NT10 so an installer might well refuse to go there. Smiley Sad

Yeah the funny thing is that since I didnt use the cloning software that came with the crucial SSD but rather the EaseUs cloning software. I was reading online that one of the issues was actually leaving the software that came with crucial installed. I thought this only applied to the crucial software, so i decided to uninstall the EaseUS Software and that seemed to do the trick. Im not sure why leaving the software installed would cause you issues. I tried finding a reason why, but I havent been able to find anything with regards to that.

Laptop hasnt frozen for the past day and hopefully it doesnt anymore. If anythign else happens ill be back here (hopefully that wont be necessary). I installed my  AHCI drive and it still seems to be working as well.

Thanks for all the help! I really appreciate it.

Re: Crucial MX300 SDD - Windows 10 Freezing (HELP ME)

I had similar situation ... upgraded 8 machines in the office with brand new bx300 ... no acronis was installed as I used ISO to clone from old drives.

Next day all 8 users started shouting that their PC's keep freezing for 1 min every hour or less ....

I did reimage OS'es , done Bios upgrades, Firmware upgrades ....

Users were reporting times when it was freezing to me so I was sure it is nothign to do with anything else going on on the network (and because they were using redirected folders I was just wandering )

Today I had report only from 2 users about freezing so I looked deeper and I scanned times against system log events, Event ID 129 - storahci resetting raidport0

I came across this solution https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/kevinholman/2013/06/21/event-id-129-storachi-reset-to-device-dev...

which seam to fix my problems

It's nice you have found solution for your PCs.

However I believe that storahci refers to Windows built-in, one-for-all universal AHCI driver. Don't you have more suited driver delivered by the PC's manufacturer?
