Re: Boot cd Error ssdchk.exe error

make sure the bios settings are also to "IDE" or "ATA" mode, not ahci.  I dont believe the flash can occur w/ AHCI (its dos based and dos doesnt understand ahci)

Re: Boot cd Error ssdchk.exe error

I'm using Raid settings, i have two WD disks in raid 0 the SSD isn't, it a non-raid member.

[ Edited ]

to flash the disk you probably need to put it into non-raid env (ide mode).  after flashed you could move settings for the ide/ahci mode back.

Indeed i'm such a paranoid **bleep** i would sugguest setting ide mode and unplugging the other dirves while flashing.

Re: Boot cd Error ssdchk.exe error

Looks like you were right, after changing the bios settings back to IDE it was a doddle, also i removed the other drives just to be safe.

Cheers for your help,  D
