I have mid 2012 macbook pro running mountian lion 10.8.4 ,
I have been using crucial ssd m4 512 GB for about 7 months now until yesterday when my mac freezed for about 15 minutes so I force turned the mac off and then my mac coudn't reboot agin .. all I get is a folder with a question mark.
I searched the internet for solutions and tried them all but no use.
I put the ssd in a usb 2 external hard drive enclousure but my macbook didn't recognize it.
please help me

First of all I'm sorry to hear that you are having problems with your SSD.
In most cases, your SSD can be returned to normal operating condition by completing a power cycle. This resets the firmware in the SSD to allow it to be detected again. No data is lost during this process and it will take approximately one hour to complete.

yes I did , and it didn't work for me at all.
Today I connected the ssd in my Mac with usb and a message pop up that it is not readable and do I want to initialize ot eject .. if I choose initialize then disk utility open and my ssd show in it. but not mounted.
