I am taking apart a game box that is no longer needed and I find it contains 3 Crucial 1gig chips. I'm thinking I might yet want to use them in a Vista box that needs more than 3gigs of RAM.
In trying to look them up they appear not to be listed. Bu if I can't find more of the same, that puts that idea under a cloud.
Here's what the chips say:
PC2700U-25331-Z
So are they obsolete or can they be used with some other chip?

HELLO, WELL IT looks like you have 3 sticks of pc2700 unbuffered memory. crucial still has a couple of part numbers of
pc2700 in sticks of 512 and 1 gig. Below is listed the part number for the 1 gig stick. You can double check if the new and old part numbers are compatible and will work in your "new visa" machine by going to live chat and just asking them. If you new computer uses industry standard memory you should be OK but I would check first just to be on the safe side.
