Is a Memory cooling kit required?

[ Edited ]

Is a memory cooling kit required to use the 2GB kit (1GBx2), 184-pin DIMM, DDR PC2700 memory module Part Number: CT50837 with a Fujitsu-Siemens PRIMERGY TX200 S2 (D1919)?

It seems ***Edit to remove Crucial competitor*** say one is needed at ***Edit to remove Crucial competitor*** but not with original memory as indicated at http://forum.ts.fujitsu.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=102&t=44273#p142512. I can't find from the Crucial website whether or not it is needed with the Crucial (Micron) memory.
Thanks

Hi Darwood,

You don't have to use a cooling Kit for this system.  The standard memory for this system will run perfectly fine and you should not have to change any cooling in the system.
