Problem with Asus n71-JV

Hello,

I want to add a new ram to extend my memory to 6Gb.

I buy a 4gb DDR3-1333 1.35V reference CT51264BF1339J

When I put the 4Gb memory module with one installed by Asus mark: Hynix marked 2Gb 2Rx8 PC3 10600S-9-10-F2, Windows crash very quickly during the boot.

If I put the 4Gb RAM module alone the PC doesn't start (the PC stops before I can see the BIOS screen).

If I let alone an original ASUS memory module (2gb), no problem Windows starts and is working fine.

Can you help me ?

Thanks

Hi ordanges,

I am sorry for the issues that you have experienced with your RAM upgrade. The N71Jv is not compatible with CT51264BF1339J. This system can only take 4GB modules that are CT51264BF1339.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.
