RDIMM for DELL T7600

Hi,

Need to buy some RDIMM for new dell t7600 precision workstation with dual processor. It has 16 slots available. I want to populate with RDIMM 16*16 GB RDIMM with ECC and 1600 MH or higher? Any suggestions  will be greatly appreciated.

I want as good as  or better than DELL original one (anybody know what's dell original one for T7600?)

Thanks!

Hi allwenw,

I couldn't find CT37122898 in my database. Is it possibly missing a digit? CT371838 is the  the same module as CT3712131, but just a quantity of two and a kit (two identical modules). Since you are wanting multiple modules it would be best for you to order in kits. Please let me know if you have any other questions about this upgrade for your T7600.

Thank you for the link and the follow up information. CT3718389 is a very low profile part. Some systems require parts that are shorter in stature because they do not have the clearance of a normal server. If your system does not have much clearance then you would need the low profile parts. If not, you are fine to go with the standard size modules.

Yes, as long as the set up has the normal amount of clearance. You would typically know if it was set up with low clearance.  If you  would like to double check, the regular server memory is 30mm and the very low profile RAM is 18.75mm.  You would need to make sure you have the clearance for the 30mm RAM. If you do not, you would need the very low profile RAM.
