Today my P420m 1.4TB boot drive(MTFGAR1T-1AG13ABYY) entered read-only state. The toolbox shows that the capacitors has failed.
I tried to secure erase or sanitize the disk, although I finally managed to do this by unmounting all the partitions, the disk is still read only after the process.
So is there a way to make it usable again? If not, could I request an RMA here?

I already tried live chat, but the representitive refused to help, saying that it's a micron product, go contact micron
I also started a rma request, number is here:
But I don't think I could get it shipped and received by service station in US in 10 days, because I and the drive is now in a different country (China). I have an adress in US which can receive things, though.
Already contacted Micron, no response for now, not even an auto-reply.
There is a Crucial label with material number on it, so I think crucial should assist with the RMA.

Thanks for replying. This drive may be a product we support and can replace, but we would need a proof of purchase in order to determine this. If we are able to set up a warranty replacement on this drive we will have to ship to one of these locations (a US address would be fine):
As far as troubleshooting goes, have you tried this drive in another system or another slot? Are you seeing the same problems installing?
Will you please private message me your email address, so that I may email you directly with the information we need to determine if we can RMA this drive? It appears that the RMA that was set up was not set up completely and that your address information did not come into our system correctly.

Email have been sent to u with private msg
I've tried it on 3 systems, they all show the same warning.
Also it would take some time for me to find the receipt, I don't have a good habit of storing them properly with a plan. But since the drive is far from the end of warranty according to production date, is this necessary?

Thank you. I have emailed you now with the follow up information

And one last thing, what is a "valid reseller and purchase date"? I bought it from an end seller(who has an online store), which may not be on Crucial's record. Do I need to ask that seller to provide me with documents from sector's general agency? Or the invoice will do, no need of other proof?

This may not be necessary. I would recommend providing us with the proof of purchase (PDF or screen shot) that you do have and then we can review it. If it is from an online store there is a good chance it will be valid and that's all we will need.
