I have ended up with the wrong memory - right size, seems to work, etc except... I ordered 4Gb non-ECC, the existing 4Gb is ECC and the machine won't use a mixture. I have opened and plugged in the memory (so the system could tell me I'd got it wrong) - is an exchange possible (with cash adjustment, ECC is a more expensive)?
BTW - I tried to install/use the memory advisor but that blue-screened windows on my machine.

If you ordered the memory from directly from Crucial and it was less than 30 days ago, we can exchange the parts for you. Please contact our Customer Support department to initiate the process. Be sure to use the proper link for your location, and reference this thread so they can see the troubleshooting you have done.
