I am buying RAM for my macbook pro, mid 2012. I used your scanner, and it told me that I could get up to 16GB (even though the apple website only says up to 8?). It told me I could buy this one: Crucial 16GB Kit (2 x 8GB) DDR3L-1600 SODIMM Memory for Mac CT3373648 http://uk.crucial.com/ProductDisplay?displayCompatibleLogo=1&urlRequestType=Base&catalogId=10153&productId=11647&externalPartNumber=CT3373648&urlLangId=-1&scanId=C687CD1E31D926C3&langId=-1&storeId=10153#productDetails I went on amazon and found what I think is the same product (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Crucial-8GBx2-PC3L-12800-SODIMM-204-Pin/dp/B007B5S52C/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1484175186&sr=8-1-fkmr0&keywords=Crucial%2B16GB%2BKit%2B(2%2Bx%2B8GB)%2BDDR3L-1600%2BSODIMM%2BMemory%2Bfor%2BMac&th=1), but it doesn't appear to have matching item model numbers. On your website it says CT3373648 and on amazon it says CT2KIT102464BF160B. But everything else about these two products seems to be exactly the same. Are they the same product? If so, how come they don't have same number? Also, I saw someone on this forum with the same computer as mine saying that after they installed the 16GB it only showed as 8. Does that matter? Will it still work as 16, but the computer won't show it, or will it only use 8 of the 16 I've bought? Would really appreciate some help.
