Hi there, I have a problem in that the password set on this drive was being used through a hardware dongle and the dongle stopped working. The user did not have a backup for the password. The password was set through the BIOS on this Samsung Series 9 laptop and it does not have any option to reset it / Erase. It will not even boot from a USB drive while this drive is installed. When I tried connecting the drive as an external with a USB enclosure then it will not be recognised by the OS. The drive is effectively unusable now. Can crucial reset it's state if I post it to them? It's just outside of warranty but was quite an expensive device when it was bought.
