None of this is overclocked
I've gone for a bit of light overclocking today. Now at 4Ghz with a +0.06v offset to 1.075 under load. I'm sure it'll go higher (since the voltage can go up to 1.3v apparently) but I want a minimal voltage increase since, as I said, I want to keep it quiet.

Even those HDD's are intentionally very slow 5400 RPM ones for quietness.
I just replaced these with a high capacity, high performance drive. Fitted in one of these: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000FLR8PE/
I cannot recommend that enough. It's vastly overpriced for what you get materially. But the job it does is amazing. The drive is now quieter than my 5400 drives. And this is in a case that already had plastic bays and screwless mounting. And it's SO much better than that. So if you're using high speed spinners with direct metal contact to your case chassis - you'd be in a for a treat buying that!
