BSOD problems after installing MU02 Firmware for MX200

Yesterday I installed the MU02 firmware udate on the hope it would improve the performance of the drive.

I'm now experiencing BSODs  on the PC (a Dell OptiPlex 790) after installing the new MU02 firmware.

The performance of the drive didn't appear to change significantly, but now the PC is unreliable.  Does anyone know if the MU01 firmware is still available, and is it possible to downgrade from MU02 to MU01?

The attached pictures show the performance from Crystal Disk Mark, the PC configuration from Windows System Information, and a list of the BSOD errors from BlueScreenView

Thank you

Just some extra infomation, I did not have your Storage Executive software installed.

I have just installed that to see if it improves system stability.  It doesn't appear to have improved performance.

Your speeds are fine if your computer is sata 2 based.  Sata 2 maxes out at about 260MB/sec

As for your errors?  are you using Intels RST driver?  If so, try a differnet version of it or try removing it (if you're not using RAID)

Re: BSOD problems after installing MU02 Firmware for MX200

thanks for that, this is an older corporate PC that I'm using remotely.  After a little bit of research it looks like the Q65 chipset only has 2 sata-3 ports and it looks like the boot drive might be pluged into a sata-2 port

no the system didn't have the intel drivers installed.

Looks to be using a Microsoft driver:

Re: BSOD problems after installing MU02 Firmware for MX200

moving the drive to port 0 on this motherboard improved the speed.  Not quite as good as I hoped for but good enough.

testing an updated Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver driver from Dell to see if it resolves the BSOD problems...

Re: BSOD problems after installing MU02 Firmware for MX200

Unfortunately the BSOD problem is still occuring ever since I installed MU02.

For Micron engineers: this PC has the Q65 chipset

The system was completely stable with the MU01 firmware.

I was able to resolve the main performance problem by moving the drive to port 0 on the motherboard.

The latest Intel RST driver that Dell provides for this system is rather old (Version 10.1.0.1008,A07):

http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/product-support/servicetag/9LQNVV1/drivers

The newest RST driver from Intel (14.5.0.1081) doesn't support this chipset.

Is there any way I can get a copy of the original MU01 firmware?  I would rather not have to return this drive, but I can't use the system in its current state.  Thank you
