I would check for BIOS update. What drivers/files did you download from asus and intel websites?

I would probably try this driver. Depending on your Windows architecture download
f6flpy-x86.zip - for 32-bit versions of the operating system or
f6flpy-x64.zip - for 64-bit versions of the operating system
Then you have to unzip downloaded file and copy extracted files to USB thumbdrive that you would use when Windows installer would ask you for a driver.

10.1.0.1008 from Asus site may be too old for the task and the latest 18.104.22.1681 from the Intel site is too new, it doesn't support older chipsets. I really hope 22.214.171.1246 will work for you... I'm not sure though.
