Clone disk driver missing: ACPI\PNP0A0A ???? SOLVED!!!

Hi,

I just purchased a Crucial MX500 1TB SSD drive to upgrade my current 128GB (SSD) OS drive.

This system is Windows 7 and has been working for many years with no problem.

The motherboard is an Asus Z87-A with an i7 4770K CPU.

I downloaded and installed Acronis True Image and cloned my drive.

At the end of the cloning process, True Image gives an error saying it needs this driver,

which I wasn't able to find up to now. Trying to boot into the new drive doesn't work, it hangs after the windows logo.

I find it funny that it needs another driver, since it has been working with whatever driver is in there now.

Any help would be aprreciated.

Dan

Solved !!!!For those who have a similar problem, just read on.

I was using a SATA to USB adapter for the cloning and thought it would boot from there, since

my computer is able to boot from USB.

Switched the drive to a SATA port and it booted OK.  Whew!! How do you spell Relief?? That's how.
