Hey,
I bought the new BX300 SSD of Crucial. As i wanted to build up a new clean system i created a bootable USB Stick with High Sierra OS. Now i installed the new SSD and put out my old Toshiba HDD. But when i start the system and boot from the USB Stick, my Mac does not recognize the SSD in MAC OS Disk Utility. Does anyone have any idea how to solve this problem?
Kind regards

i usually pre format drives in disk utility prior to installing to them (new drive as a secondary, using existing macos install). what did you use to make the usb installer, and is there a way you could mount the drive via a usb adapter and use your esisting install to deal with a pre format?
