During fresh installing of Windows 10 64bit on a NEW Crucial MX200 CT500MX200SSD4 M.2 Type 2280SS the installation process cannot create or locate any partition, don´t recognized disk.
This is the situation:
- An updated Asus Z97-A BIOS to last 2401- No other disk connected
Please help me!
I am afraid it won't work. As far as I know crucial's M.2 drives are SATA based drives, they use SATA interface.
Z97-A user manual says:
- 1 x M.2 Socket 3, with M Key, type 2260/2280 storage devices support (supports PCIE SSD only)
It seems your motherboard supports M.2 SSD with PCIE interface only - take a look at this article http://forum.crucial.com/t5/The-Cru/mSATA-and-M-2-SSDs/ba-p/167881
